// Ever wished you knew the ins and outs of how successful bloggers make money off of their online businesses? Regina is sharing her secrets, and they’re SO helpful! Not only does she talk about resources and tools that have really helped, she tells her readers exactly what she did – what worked, and what didn’t, and what she plans to change next month.

// Have you heard of the Whiteness Project?  I hadn’t until Marielle wrote about it, and I love how she discussed this difficult topic.  I’m still struggling to understand people who think that white privilege is a myth, but I guess this interview Jon Stewart had with Bill O’Reilly proves that there really are people out there insisting that it’s basically the tooth fairy.

//That Fleetwood Mac concert I went to Wednesday night? Yeah…it was freaking amazing! I think I’ll be listening to primarily Fleetwood Mac for a while…

// Have you heard of The Skimm? It’s a daily email newsletter that summarizes the day’s top news headlines for you. I signed up months ago, but usually ended up deleting the emails without really reading much.  Lately though, that’s one more thing that my commute has gotten me into doing is reading those emails every day.

So what are you loving this week?

Whiteness is such an important and interesting topic! I took a course during my graduate work entitled The Invisibility of Whiteness that was such an eye-opener for me. To this day I consider the best class I have ever taken!

It is – and it’ can be so difficult to talk about, but I think it’s so important.

    The Skimm sounds so cool!

It is! It’s such an easy way to keep up on the news

Ah, that interview was hilarious. Every time I see Bill, he descends to some new level of crazy. Apparently my Asian American privilege trumps white privilege and/or proves it doesn’t exist. Sigh.

I know! I just could not get over the Asian American comment – Jon Stewart’s face when he said that was priceless.
